AKROS was founded by a team of Big 4 tax alumni with decades of combined experience in tax technology, income tax provision (ASC 740), and tax compliance, as preparers, reviewers, and consultants who saw firsthand where legacy tax software falls short. After years of waiting for the technology to catch up, we built it ourselves, starting with one of the biggest pain points in the tax world: the provision.
Not stopping at the tax provision
AKROS Tax Provision is our first product, not our last. We're in continuous development, adding features and functionality to the provision tool while building out additional modules, including Pillar Two and uncertain tax positions, on the same platform.

Developed in the United States without AI
Our software is built 100% in-house in the U.S. by tax and technology specialists, using a traditional software development lifecycle. AI supplements our development process, but has no access to and never touches the codebase, which translates to us having full confidence in our solutions producing accurate, consistent and auditable outputs every time.
