AKROS was founded by a team of Big 4 tax alumni with decades of combined experience in tax technology, income tax provision (ASC 740), and tax compliance, as preparers, reviewers, and consultants who saw firsthand where legacy tax software falls short. After years of waiting for the technology to catch up, we built it ourselves, starting with one of the biggest pain points in the tax world: the provision.
Not stopping at the tax provision
AKROS Tax Provision is our first product, not our last. We're in continuous development, adding features and functionality to the provision tool while building out additional modules on the same platform: GAAP-STAT, uncertain tax positions, legal entity management, tax compliance, Pillar Two, forecasting, and estimates.

Built in the U.S. — by people, not AI
AKROS is developed entirely in-house in the United States by tax and technology specialists, following a disciplined software development lifecycle. AI never writes or accesses our code, so every calculation is human-built, tested, and auditable. The result is accurate, consistent output our clients can stand behind.
